The Laughing Buddha rides the dragon turtle over a heap of coins.
Budai, the laughing monk, is kept for contentment and for the luck that finds people who are easy to be around. The dragon turtle under him is the feng shui figure for support and long life, the creature that carries weight without complaint. One on top of the other reads as good fortune with something solid to stand on, and the coins and ingots underneath are what the pair are traditionally asked to bring in.
Chosen for a shop counter, a reception desk, or a housewarming for a couple starting out.
Placement: facing the front door or into the main room. Never facing a bathroom.
