Hand Carved Rosewood Display Stand 25cm

The smaller of the two carved stands, 25cm from end to end.

The centre is raised and pierced with a round window, the two side platforms sit lower, and the whole piece is carved to read as root and rock in the scholar's desk manner, then lacquered nearly black. It is the size for one small statue with a tea cup either side, or a row of three stones on a shelf too narrow for anything wider.
