Citrine Money Tree

A tree of citrine chips, wired branch by branch, rooted in a gold pot.

The money tree is the feng shui picture of wealth that grows rather than arrives: many small stones, each one a coin, held up by branches that keep reaching. Citrine is the sunlit quartz, long kept for optimism and for inviting opportunity in, which is why it is the stone most often wired into these trees. The pot is cast with three dragons around its belly, the dragon being the keeper of anything worth keeping.

The smaller tree sits on a shelf or beside a till; the larger holds its own on a sideboard or the counter of a shop that has just opened.

Placement: the wealth corner of a room, the far left as you enter, or the south east of the home.
