Clear quartz is the master stone, valued for clarity and for holding whatever intention is brought to it, and it is the stone most often used to fill the dish in front of a buddha. These are raw pieces with their fracture faces left as they broke, so each has a glassy side and a frosted one. Kept as an offering before a statue, spread over the soil of an indoor plant, or in a bowl by the door where keys and small stones land.
