Crystal Pendulum

A faceted crystal point on a chain, held still until it moves.

The pendulum is one of the oldest tools for asking a yes or no question. You hold the chain steady over the question and let the point swing, reading the small movements of your own hand. Amethyst is the calm stone, obsidian the grounding one, clear quartz holds whatever intention is brought to it, and tiger eye is carried for a decision made rather than deferred.

Used at a desk before a hard call, or kept in a drawer for the evenings when the mind will not settle.
