A clear sphere filled with gold leaf, set on a black wooden stand.
The feng shui ball is kept for movement, the idea that fortune should circulate rather than sit, and gold leaf inside glass makes that visible: every flake catches a different angle as you pass. The sphere rests in a stepped black base and arrives in a yellow silk-lined box printed 風生水起, wind rising and water flowing, the phrase said over a venture that is starting to move.
Given at a housewarming, an office opening, or over the New Year, and small enough to sit by a till or on a desk.
- Sphere: clear glass with gold leaf inside, supplier lists crystal and gold foil, unconfirmed
