Phoenix Ring Ornament

A phoenix in glossed blue and gold, rising through a ring of mirrored glass.

The fenghuang is the bird of the south in feng shui, kept for opportunity, recognition and a good name, the one set out when a household or a business is opening a new chapter. Here the tail feathers curl in deep blue with gilt edges, the crest and beak are gold, and the ring behind is set with broken mirror so it throws back whatever light the room has. The large size is a pair, one bird rising and one settling, made to stand side by side.

Chosen for an entryway console, a living room shelf, or the counter of a business on its opening day.

Placement: the south of a room, or facing the front door from inside.
