Cinnabar has been worn for centuries as a stone of protection and vitality, its deep red kept close to the skin to invite good fortune and hold it.
The arrow is one of the oldest protective forms, kept to cut through obstruction and hold a clear line forward. This one is carved with scrollwork along the head, a small red bead knotted above it.
