Citrine in the rough, broken rather than cut, pale lemon yellow.
Citrine is the yellow form of quartz, the colour of low sun through a window. It has long been kept for optimism and for inviting opportunity in, and traders kept a piece in the till or the cash box, which is why it is still called the merchant's stone. Left rough, the faces catch light unevenly, some sharp, some frosted, and no two pieces sit alike.
You receive about 100g, a small handful of pieces. It suits a bowl on a desk, the shelf behind a counter, or a business in its first year.
