The stone is left as it broke from the seam, uncut and unpolished, so no two are the same shape. Five to choose from: clear quartz, kept for clarity; amethyst, the calm stone; rose quartz, the stone of the open heart; lemon quartz, a pale sunlit quartz kept for optimism; and a blue crystal the colour of sea glass.
The band is open at the back and adjusts to most fingers. Often bought by colour as a birthday gift, or two at once to wear on the same hand.
