Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, waving from a red cushion.
The elephant-headed god is the one asked first, before any new venture, journey or exam, to clear the road ahead. He holds an axe to cut through what blocks the way, a goad to steer, and a sweet, because the work should end in something good. The mouse at his feet is his vehicle. This small version sits on a cushion with a solar cell at the front, and when light falls on it the arms wave on their own.
Bought for a new car, a first office, or a student's desk before the exam season.
