Three Rams Figurine Set

Three rams in folded planes, two grown and one small.

San yang kai tai, three rams open the way to peace, is the wish written over doors at the turn of the year. It comes from the I Ching, where the hexagram Tai, peace, is the one in which three yang lines have returned and winter turns toward spring, and the word for ram is spoken the same way as the word for yang. So three rams together say the hard stretch is over and things are opening up. Here they are made as a small family, which is why the maker calls the set the love rams.

Given at Lunar New Year, at a housewarming, or to a family of three.
